잊혀지게 내버려 둬야 하는데

내 뇌는 왜 이리 자꾸 들춰내는지 모르겠다.

여행의 유포리아 는 역시 오래 가지 못한다.

모든 것들이 그렇듯.

돌아온지 나흘이 되고, 아직 여독이 풀리지 않았다.

오늘은 하루 종일 잔거나 마찬가지인데,

내일 또 병가를 내고 싶다.

주말도 다가 오는데.

아무 것도 하고 싶지 않고 누구도 만나고프지 않고

그냥 아무것도 아니고 싶은.

i fell in love.

i walked out of the ryokan, onto the river, where the autumn foliage coloured the hills orange and red in patches, 

where fog was hanging pretty, the clearest blue water,

the sunrise on the other side reflecting beautifully

i stopped in my tracks, my heart felt full, the beauty was almost painful to witness

i quietly uttered 'this is so beautiful' to myself.

it was quiet, it was serene, only very few people out on their morning walks, mostly elderly locals,

it was a scene of utmost peace, quiet and beauty.

arashiyama was so beautiful, worth every bit of waking up at dawn for that early morning walk alone.
