my favourite carrie dress

i know it's amoral, superficial, hypersexual, 

but despite all that, i remember looking forward to those evenings,

the highly infectious and upbeat score for the opening credits

carrie's (usually but certainly not always) fabulous dresses

and i remember the slight sense of yearning for

her cigarettes,

her cosmopolitans,

her clothes,

her men.

this was my absolute favourite dress of hers.
