of which i quite liked 10.

the three i didn't were major disappointments/ horrid to eat.

if you are going there, be aware of the radish dish (all i could taste was the black bean sauce! where is the watermelon?) and the incredibly sour curd (?or was it meant to be an appetite cleanser? is that why it was just sour-sour-sour-gross?).

i was also not a huge fan of the ox tongue.

favourites? probably the marron. proteins were generally good, with the ubiquitous pork bun and squab and the last course of the meal (pork shoulder) all lovely. potato was also really enjoyable.


overall a great dining experience, watching chefs right in front of me -

i thought some of the chefs that served us acted like they couldn't be stuffed talking to us, which i found a little sad but oh well.


compared to quay, i much preferred this place. bit more flavoursome, bit more diversity, interesting food with different textures, a little less pretense.
